Summer Camp 2010 News
Summer Camp 2010 will be
The anticipated cost of $550 per
scout and $430 per adult includes all meals, motor coach transportation, week
long camping, summer
Important information for summer camp:
TENTS – We
will be bringing OUR own TENTS to camp with us.
Merit Badges
– Turn in signup sheet by MARCH 22nd.
Complete pre-work PRIOR to camp!
Activities requiring
Pre-Registration:
75-Mile Outpost
– This is a Mini High-Adventure program and scouts must be 13 years old to
sign-up (minimum number of participants are required).
This activity will take the whole week at camp and will involve: Day 1 -
hiking 5 to 10 miles, Day 2 – mountain biking, Days 3 & 4 – 50 mile canoe trip
on the upper section of the Mississippi River, Day 5 – round up.
(No extra cost for this multi-day activity. Minimum number of
participants required to organize this activity.)
COPE, Climbing, Snorkeling
& SCUBA Diving – only limited space
available.

Parents with scouts attending
summer camp will want to attend to:

Turn in completed forms (health forms, merit badge sign-ups)

Receive information on what scouts and adults should pack for summer camp (tips
on packing clothes efficiently, tents, cots / air mattress, fishing gear,
official Class A Scout Shirt, swim clothes, snacks, electronics, etc.)

Sending mail to your scout or adult at summer camp
·
Requirements for medications to be taken during summer
camp
·
What not to bring to summer camp
·
Make arrangements for any final camp payments
·
